PNKC in a Nutshell
Phil-Nippon Kyoei Corporation (PNKC) is a SEC registered company founded by Filipino and Japanese engineers
in 1995. It aims to provide excellent operational solutions in planned engineering maintenance, strategic
materials procurement and equipment performance monitoring, evaluation and analysis towards improving
corporate returns and business profits
PNKC is a holding company of strategic business units engaged in industrial and commercial trading, technical
consultancy, power and energy, ship maintenance and operations, cold storage and logistical services. Since
its incorporation, PNKC has established solid business relationships with companies belonging to the top 1000
Philippine corporations for all its related businesses. Technomarine Co. Ltd., a company based in Kobe, Japan,
has a 40% of equity of PNKC.
The cornerstone that differentiates PNKC's operations is the Industrial Sales Group (ISG). ISG is responsible for
the supply and sale of industrial equipment, spare parts and appurtenances, and engineering services
required by industrial plants, power plants, marine and shipping companies, cargo terminals, and major
commercial establishments. In tandem with its Japanese principals, the supply chain group constantly
improves its purchasing strategies and schemes to lower capital and operating expenditures for its clientele.
PNKC is also a niche player in the power industry. It has the resources, technology, and organization to
undertake Build-Own-Operate (BOO) projects ranging from 100 KW to 40 MW base-load demand capacities for
industrial manufacturers and to engage in power sales agreement for enable heavy industries that requiring
their own power source. PNKC provides self-generated power in the conventional base load reciprocating
piston type diesel power plants. It's subsidiary, Exergy Phils. Corp. also champions the use of amorphous
systems in tandem with micro crystalline silicon solar power plants for entities that advocate environment
friendly operations. With its strength and expertise in the power industry, PNKC has completed projects with
an aggregate total of 50 MW self-installed capacity generating plants.
Significant synergies with all PNKC strategic business units result in the sharing of competencies and
resources, which keeps operating costs at a reasonable average level of around 25% of total revenues. To
date, PNKC has strategic business units and affiliates that offer competent and efficient engineering services in
cold storage warehousing and refrigerated transport with Glacier industrial facilities, equipment performance
monitoring thru Aura Integrators Corp. and engineering, procurement and construction services for medium
size industrial plants thru Mannvits Corp.
